Software Engineer for the GeoTech team, focused on processing and structuring incoming data, running data pipelines, maintaining data quality, and building the unified utilities map and related applications. The role involves Python backend development, ETL/data infrastructure, CI/CD for data processing, and collaboration with product, design, and QA. Experience with AI development tools, AWS, Airflow, PostgreSQL/SQL, Kubernetes/Docker, and geospatial technologies is important, with GIS experience preferred.

• 5+ years as a backend/software engineer with solid Python skills
• Proven experience with AI development tools - we use Claude Code as a daily tool on our team
• Familiarity with Airflow (or comparable orchestration)
• Experience with AWS services
• Solid PostgreSQL/SQL skills
• Solid debugging skills
• Kubernetes/Docker
• English Fluent - written and verbal
