Software Engineer, GeoTech Team

4M Analytics is looking for a Software Engineer for its GeoTech team to help process and structure incoming data, run data pipelines, and maintain data quality for a subsurface utilities mapping product. The role involves backend Python development, CI/CD for data processing, ETL and database work, and collaboration with product, design, and QA teams. Preferred experience includes GIS/geospatial development and related tools.

• 5+ years as a backend/software engineer with solid Python skills
• Proven experience with AI development tools - we use Claude Code as a daily tool on our team
• Familiarity with Airflow (or comparable orchestration)
• Experience with AWS services
• Solid PostgreSQL/SQL skills
• Solid debugging skills
• Kubernetes/Docker
• English Fluent - written and verbal
